How to: Photograph the Moon with a DSLR Camera

Merry Christmas! It is a full moon out, so I thought it would be a great time to show you the best settings to take a picture on a DSLR camera. Of course it all depends on tons of factors, but I am going to put you in the right direction.

Just remember, low ISO, 100-300 is fine. Fstop, not too important, but lower numbers let more light in, so remember that. Shutter speed: 1/300 – 1/500 should do it. Just play around to get the best shot.

Camera in this video was a Nikon D3100 with 300mm lens. But these settings should work for any DSLR or even a point and shoot camera with manual settings.

I hope this helps you out!
